Color Comparisons: Orange Blushes

Orange blushes are my absolute favorite! I will be posting these color comparisons periodically to show you how certain colors in the same family compare to one another. Sometimes they will be all blush or all eyeshdadow, sometimes they will be a mixture of products that are all in the same color family. The posts may also consist of products that serve the same purpose. Let me know what you all think about this idea. Do you think this is helpful?

Left to Right, Top to Bottom:
R & R Immoral, Cargo Laguna, R & R All Nighter, Nars Taj Mahal
MAC Devil, La Femme Orange, Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream 10

Rock & Republic Immoral~warm coral(matte)
Cargo Laguna~bright coral that leans more orange than pink(matte)
Rock & Republic All Nighter~bright coral with strong orange undertones(shimmer)
Nars Taj Mahal~intense golden orange(shimmer)
MAC Devil~red-orange(matte base with slight micro-shimmer)
La Femme Orange~yellow-orange(matte)
Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream 10~vibrant orange(golden shimmer)

As you can see while all of these colors are in the same family there are no dupes. Each has a different level of intensity and undertone.

    Hello! I just found your site and it's lovely! thanks for the swatches. I want to get Cargo 'Laguna' but what is the best brush to apply so I get good color payoff but don't look clownish?

    Hi Cierra! Thank you! You could use a large fluffy brush like the MAC 129 or 150. You could also use the Hakuhodo K020 brush. The larger and fluffier the brush the less color it deposits. The smaller and denser the brush the more color it will deposit. :)
