More Tom Ford

I have been on a Tom Ford roll! I plan to get most of the brushes, the eye color quads, and the blushes. I don't really wear a lot of lip products because my lips stay chapped...ugh!!! This time I purchased the Violet Dusk quad, Sahara cheek color, and the cream foundation brush(which I love).

You can purchase Tom Ford at Neiman Marcus. You get 10g of eyeshadow in a quad for $75.00(ouch!) which comes to $7.50/g. That is a nice amount of eyeshadow and on par with the price of other high end companies. For comparison you can purchase 6g of MAC eyeshadows in a quad for $53.00 at $8.83/g. 

You get 8g of blush for $55.00, $6.88/g. A MAC blush is 6g for $19.50, $3.50/g.

I really like the blushes in this line! They have great pigmentation. It only takes a swipe of the brush to get great color payoff. Savage is a beautiful copper colored blush with a golden sheen.

Tom Ford Cream Foundation Brush

Tom Ford Cream Foundation Brush vs. Shu Uemura natural 18 goat brush

The Tom Ford Cream Foundation brush is a whopping $70.00. The Shu Uemura 18 brush is $42.00. 

I must say though, upon first swipe of the TF brush I was in love! I used it with my Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation and it blended and applied the foundation so smoothly without a streak. I was able to stipple for more coverage where needed and swipe in other places. The brush did not shed while applying foundation nor when I washed it. The foundation did stain the bristles a bit, but after the brush dried the color of the foundation is barely noticeable.

There is no doubt that this is certainly the high end of high end luxury brands. I say that if you can afford it, give this line a try!
