I did this look the other day and never got around to posting it. I was undecided, and didn't know whether I wanted to use color or choose a more neutral look. This is what I came up with.
Face: RCMA Shinto palette IV. MAC mineralize skinfinish medium deep. MUFE full cover concealer 10 & 12. MAC select sheer loose powder nc40.
Eyes: I applied bamboom paint over the entire lid from lash line to brow bone. I applied MUFE 9(matte lavender) in the crease using the 217 brush. I then applied MUFE 92(matte warm vivid purple ) beneath MUFE 9 using the 217 brush. I dipped my 239 brush into MAC lovely lily pigment and then I sprayed the brush with MAC fix+. I then patted the lovely lily onto the first half of my mobile lid. I applied MAC noir plum mega metal eyeshadow to the outer half of my mobile lid using the 239 brush. I deepened the crease and outer "v" with MAC rich purple pigment using the Billy B. Beauty 12 brush. I applied MAC vanilla pigment to the brow bone using the 213 brush. I applied MAC lovely lily pigment to the tear duct using the 219 brush.
I lined my upper lash line with MAC blacktrack fluidline using the 266 brush. I lined the lower waterline with Urban Decay pencil in zero. I lined the lower lash line with noir plum using the 219 brush. I applied MAC 8 lashes.
Cheeks: I applied MAC loverush blush as a contour using the 169 brush(d/c). I applied the pink side of MAC amazon princess blush duo using the 169 brush(d/c). I applied MAC vanilla pigment to the cheek bones as a highlight using the 169 brush(d/c).
Lips: MAC cork lip pencil. MAC bare slimshine lipstick.
So beautiful...Woman, I swear...your blog is like an art gallery! Ok, so all I need now are two things...Brow Tutorial and your tips for keeping eyeshadow from fading or going muddy halfway through the day. Primers and bases are not created equal.
ReplyDeleteLove your work!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Do you have a You Tube Channel?
ReplyDeleteYou KNOW I love this right?! I just have to sit a stare at it...so pretty & so purple! =)...after my own heart!
ReplyDelete@valsprettyglam~Lol @ 'Woman'! My cousin calls me that all the time! Thank you so much! I will work on at least a picture tutorial for my brows. I use MAC paints in the tube to help my eyeshadow stay. Have you tried any bases like MAC paints, Urban Decay primer potion, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Nars smudgeproof eyeshadow base? If you apply a thin layer of those before your eyeshadow that will really help your eyeshadow to stay on without fading. I then apply a creamier base like MAC paint pot or MUFE aqua cream to make my colors pop!
ReplyDelete@couturesista~Thank you ma'am!
