Sleek Makeup Palette Review with Swatches Part 1

I bought these palettes in November of last year when Sleek Makeup had a 50% off sale. I was able to buy 6 eyeshadow palettes, a contour kit, and two nail polishes all for $40! Can you believe that? Sleek has some really great products and $5 for twelve colors is simply a steal! So even if I had to get up at the crack of dawn to get online and then receive my colors a month later, it was still worth it. They did give me free shipping for the hassle as well.

What it is: Sleek Makeup is a makeup company based in the U.K. They are most well known for their 12 color I-Divine eyeshadow palettes. The company prides itself in having the ability to market itself to women of all ethnicities.

The Sleek MakeUP brand is youthful and fresh, engaging the interest of young women from a range of different backgrounds. Our ethos is to produce a range which boasts of extremely trendy, fashion forward shades and innovative products which can be worn by all but with a particular focus on women who are under-represented by major brands in the cosmetics market.

What it cost: This is where Sleek Makeup really shines! You can purchase a palette of twelve strongly pigmented eyeshadows for the low cost of $10! Each eyeshadow is about the size of a nickel compared to MAC eyeshadows that are a bit bigger than a quarter. That averages out to be about .83 cents per eyeshadow! You can purchase products online at: Sleek Makeup.

Sleek Storm Palette

Sleek Original Palette

Sleek Bad Girl Palette

What I think: The eyeshadows in these palettes are not the best I have ever used compared to Inglot or Make Up For Ever, but for eyeshadows in this price range they are great! The black eyeshadow varies in quality depending on the palette. In the Storm palette it was not as pigmented, but was very pigmented in the Bad Girl palette.

The shimmer eyeshadows all seem to have great color payoff and wear well on the eyes. The matte eyeshadows are hit and miss, but most have average payoff. The satin textured eyeshadows are highly pigmented. I always use a base so I don't really have issues with wear time. I will definitely be purchasing more of these palettes and also plan to purchase some of the blushes which I have read great reviews on.

Some of the palettes have names for the individual eyeshadows like the Bad Girl palette, but most that I received are just named by the palette.

My favorite palette of the three of these has to be the Bad Girl palette. I love the mixture of shimmer, matte, and satin textures. All of the colors have great payoff and the blue-purple(third color from the left on the bottom row) is absolute love! This is THE smoky eye palette for those who love those dramatic eyes!

If you are looking to increase your eyeshadow stash and not break the bank I would say give these a try. Shipping to the U.S. is expensive at $13.50, but once you average out the cost of the eyeshadows it is still cheaper than most brands.

Be on the look out for part 2 coming soon!
