Naked Day & Night

Ok, ok, so I know the title is a little risque...lol! I'm talking about makeup. I had more clients today. A wedding this morning and a birthday party in the evening. So I was pretty busy. I changed the look from a day to an evening look using the Urban Decay Naked palette.

Face: MUFE hd 173. MAC mineralize skinfinish medium deep. MAC studio finish concealer in nw40. MAC studio sculpt concealer in nw35. Ben Nye banana visage loose powder. MAC studio fix powder in fragile peach under the eyes.

Eyes: I primed my lids with my usual bamboom paint. I applied MUFE 28 in the crease using the 217 brush. I really like the MUFE 28 color a lot, it's like MAC saddle but with more kick! I then applied a layer of layin' low paint pot on the mobile lid with the 242 brush for color intensity. I applied naked from the Urban Decay naked palette using the 239 brush. I applied darkhorse and hustle from the naked paletted in the outer "v" using the 266 brush and blending over it and up into the crease using the 217 brush. I applied virgin from the naked palette on the brow bone and sidecar just in the arch of the brow bone using the 239 brush. A bit of half baked from the naked palette was used in the tear duct using the 228 brush.

I used MAC blacktrack fluidline on the upper lashline using the 263 brush. On the lower lash line I used Stila kajal liner in topaz. I love the topaz liner, because it is more of a creamy beige rather than a stark white so it looks better on darker skin. Although I do still like and use white on certain looks. I applied darkhorse and hustle on just the outer third of the lower lash line using the 263 brush. I used MAC #12 lashes.

I kicked it up for evening just a tad, by adding creep from the naked palette to further deepen the outer "v" and crease with the 263 brush. I also applied creep to the lower lash line with the 263 brush.

Cheeks: For the day I contoured with MUFE sculpting kit in 4 using the 169 brush(d/c). I applied Black Radiance soft honey blush on the cheeks using the 129 brush.

In the evening I deepened the contour with MAC studio fix in nw50 using the 169 brush(d/c). I applied Lorac tantilizer baked bronzer in tan on the cheekbones and the temple to give a glow using the Billy B. Beauty 13 brush.

Lips: MAC super kissable lipcolour. I just love these new lipcolours!!!

  10. Hi lolacoco1! I don't use a pencil in the crease. I use the 217 brush from MAC.

You could try bamboo, brule, bisque, wedge, brown down, blanc type, tete a tint, naked lunch, shroom, phloof, grain, satin taupe, or charcoal brown. Those are great neutral tones. HTH! :)
